Join us to celebrate the little silvery fish that comes to Richardson Bay by the thousands every year and sustains the last commercial fishery in San Francisco Bay - right off our Sausalito shore!
Enjoy delicious food, free live music, and kids activities. Environmental and historical groups will be on hand to tell us about the fishery, the boats and the important role this little fish plays in our ecosystem.
Learn more about it all while listening to great music and feasting on herring delicacies presented by local chefs and restaurants.
Access to the event is free. All proceeds from food and beverage sales support the Sausalito Community Boating Center at Cass Gidley Marina - a non profit established to create a place that provides affordable access to boats and the water, preserves our maritime history through education and skill building, and promotes stewardship of our local bay ecosystem.
Come early, stay late! The first year we sold out within one hour! Please check our website www.cassgidley.org for more information and an upcoming list of participating restaurants & chefs!
For groups or restaurants interested in potentially participating, please e-mail info@cassgidley.org
