Galilee Maritime Day
Save the afternoon of Saturday, August 3 for Galilee Harbor’s annual Maritime Day.
This is a free event for the entire family. Learn about wooden boat building from the Arques School of Traditional Boatbuilding, purchase fish & chips, drinks and homemade desserts, tour open boats, and hop aboard for a free boat ride on Richardson Bay. Listen to live music and check out the arts and crafts booths, joined by educational non-profits.
The Richardson Bay Regional Agency will host a booth at the event to share information on its Eelgrass Restoration and Adaptive Management Plan. The RBRA’s booth will include updates on signage and maps that will be helpful for mariners navigating Richardson Bay.
